The quintet from Troy, Michigan released their debut album To Plant A Seed in 2009. The album entered the Billboard 200 chart and soared to number 6 on the Heatseekers chart. The record spawned “Broken Statues” and “To Plant a Seed,” both songs earning great tracking across the heavy metal community. By 2011, We Came As Romans released their sophomore work Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be, peaking at number 7 on the Indie charts and number 10 on the Billboard 200. Two years later, the band would reach number 1 on the Indie chart with their first ever chart topping record Tracing Back Roots. We Came As Romans would release a total of six full studio albums, all earning great reception within the metal community and music authorities. This August 2025, We Came As Romans is slated to release their seventh album All Is Beautiful…. Because We’re Doomed.
