With a tray of coffee and bottles of water in hand, Earle will hit the stage with just his guitar for an intimate, stripped down acoustic show, performing songs from all fifty one years of his career as a composer and singer. A 70 date tour in North America begins in February 2026 and runs through November 2026 and will also include concerts in Nashville, New York, Albany and Miami. These shows will be a true celebration of a life’s work — a one night “university” where fans of all ages, people who have spent their whole lives following Steve Earle through country, through rock and through almost every other musical genre that exists — will gather to share a night of music together.
Where would you be without Steve Earle? He’s one of the most popular and successful singer-songwriter, guitarist, author, actor and activist in America today. His music combines elements of country, rock and folk, and his songs often reflect his irreverent and progressive spirit. Audiences love to sing along to the songs that he has made popular such as “Copperhead Road” (a rebellious ditty), “Guitar Town”, and “The Galway Girl” – all examples of the outstanding storytelling that has marked his entire music career over the last five decades. His latest album “Alone Again (Live)”, released in 2024, is performed in a new acoustic format and further deepens the listeners connection to the music. He has won three Grammy Awards for Best modern Folk Album. Although he barely made it through ninth grade, Earle dropped out of school and ran away to Nashville to become a musician. In the 1990s he battled long-term addiction to both narcotics and alcohol and served time in rehab and prison. But he has come through and uses his music as an ongoing vehicle to express his artistic and social views. So, in addition to an amazing concert experience from a true musical icon, Steve Earle fans will also have an opportunity to learn more about his humanitarian views and learn about his various projects and social activism.
