We present a night of Cuba's rich musical heritage performed by The Buena Vista Orchestra a renowned orchestra made up of some of the best musicians in Havana. Their performance will be a unique and exciting blend of Son, Bolero and other Latin classical music performed on stage at a theater in Ontario for a lively audience of music lovers from all over performing all the classic Cuban songs and more in a night of excellent Cuban music by this fine orchestra and audience of music lovers.
A group of Cuban musicians and other artists from around the world brought together by the Buena Vista Social Club, The Buena Vista Orchestra consists of most of the Cuba-born musicians who studied at the Havana-based Instituto Superior de Arte. The ensemble has been performing and earning huge appreciation in Europe for preserving Cuba's rich musical heritage. The Orchestra's most recent album is called "Cuban Soul" and features some classic Cuban songs as well as new interpretations. Some of the songs that The Buena Vista Orchestra plays are "Chan Chan", "Dos Gardenias" and "El Cuarto de Tula".
The Danforth Music Hall theater is located at 147 Danforth Avenue in the east end of Toronto, Ontario. There is intimate setting of a theater with great acoustics and personal seating.
